25 Mile Creek State Park

I think it was 6 years ago that we accidentally ended up at 25 Mile Creek State Park, and we've been there as often as possible eve since. Originally we were trying to stay at Lake Chelan State Park, but they were full and we had no reservations. They suggested we go up the road 10 miles to the other park. We loved it so much we've booked a site there at least once every summer since.

The park is comprised of 2 separate areas. Up by the lake are the RV sites with power and water and so close together your door opens up into the side of the rig beside you. Then there's the rear of the park. No hookups but the sites are more dispersed, private, and many of them are creek side.

The park has a nice sheltered marina with a boat launch, 2 bathroom areas, and a park store for firewood, ice, boat fuel and all those last minute things you forgot to bring. Dan calls it his happy place. June and September are my favorite times to go there's fewer campers and the weather is usually a bit cooler. 100 degrees is not uncommon through the summer there.
